Kim comes from a book loving family where both parents would read for hours every evening (when not dealing with their 4 daughters). She wishes that all the fantastic book choices for kids were around in her day but it’s actually ok because she gets to read them all now. Kim has worked with children and teens for the last 25 years as an occupational therapist. Running a kids’ bookstore combines 2 of her favourite things: books and kids.
Kim has lots of favourites in the teen and kids fiction section and shares a love of dystopian books with her daughter. If you read too many of those books in a row you start to put together your survival kit so it’s good to mix it up with fantasy and funny novels now and then. Kim also loves funny picture books, activity books, and has fond memories of reading Moo, Baa, La La La and Baby Beluga board books about a million times.
Putting the right book in a customer’s hands can make Kim’s day.
